Case 39 Stills Hit Web with a Yawn

Here's the deal ... Renee Zellweger? She's about as exciting to watch as paint drying. Except of course for her stint in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation in which she was cute and sort of watchable. Now she just always has that same look on her face, like she's constantly eating a lemon. What happened, huh? We blame Botox. In any event, several new images from her latest film, the spooky sounding Case 39, hit the web today showing off a whole lot of nothing.
The film, also starring Ian McShane, tells the tale of a police officer who helps Zellweger’s character figure out the truth when she saves a girl from what she believes is an abusive home life only to discover that things are not quite as clear as they first seem.
This one has been sitting on the shelf for quite some time now. Maybe that's where it should have stayed. To see the images click the one below (which by the way is as good as it gets) courtesy of DVD-Forum.at.

The Strangers Part 2 and More Coming From IntrepidIntrepid Pictures made a couple of announcements today via the trades, one centering on a sequel we all knew was going to happen and the other an as yet untitled thriller from first-time feature director David Prior.
Well Zelle was good in "The Whole Wide World." Problem is, I think only 5 people, other than the folks who made it, ever saw the thing.
