Join the World's Biggest Zombie Walk
If you live in or around the London, England, area, then you have a chance to participate in the world’s biggest zombie walk, which is being filmed during The Big Chill music festival for Chris Boyle's mockumentary I Spit on Your Rave.
THR describes the project as follows: The mockumentary is set nine years after the 2012 Olympics, which has seen mankind rendered extinct after a virus is released during the sporting event. Zombies have taken over the world but, like their human ancestors, they are partial to a summer festival party.
Additional details can be found on The Big Chill website: Filming begins on Thursday 6th August – giving festival-goers an additional day of festivities. The co-production by Warp Films (Dead Man’s Shoes and This is England) and Film Four (Trainspotting and Shallow Grave) will use thousands of zombie costumed ticket holders, not to mention vats of make-up, to swell the cast numbers and enter the Guinness Book of World Records for the “Most Amount of Zombies Captured on Camera”.
The Big Chill on its own sounds like a blast, but add in the zombie walk, and it becomes a "must" for British horror fans. Hopefully a few of our readers will go and report back with pictures and all the gory details!
