Ed Quinn Joins HBO's True Blood

The cast of HBO's wonderful series "True Blood" just gets bigger and better looking all the time! We recently learned that Ed Quinn ("Eureka", House of the Dead 2) will be joining the show during its second season.

The news was a bit buried in a story from The Hollywood Reporter, but it seems Quinn will be playing a character named Stan, who was introduced in Book 2 of the Sookie Stackhouse Series, Living Dead in Dallas. Apparently Stan is the Dallas, Texas, nest leader, much like Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) is in Sookie's area.

Guess we'll see how it all plays out when "True Blood" returns to HBO June 14th. In the meantime, check out E! Online's sneak peek for Season Two below (just beware that it's rather dark and hard to see):
