The indie horror short may be one of the most underrated art forms in existence today. This kind of thing just doesn’t happen in other mediums. A 10-minute ‘buddy comedy’ or a song that’s only one verse and one chorus wouldn’t work. But good indie horror shorts work. Say hello to Rebecca.
There is very little I can say about Rebecca without giving away its OMG moment. The initial scenes will remind all of us of arguments we’ve had with our better halves from time to time, but Rebecca has a big issue she needs to work through. A very big one.
The performance of the beautiful Isidora Goreshter is top-notch, and director Judson Scott creates a brilliant environment for her to sow the seeds of her insanity. Rebecca is less than 10 minutes long and very entertaining. Believe us; it’s worth your time. And be sure to watch through the credits. And after you watch it, let us know what you thought.
