One flick we know you guys are going to dig once it’s released is Casey Walker’s A Little Bit Zombie. It’s that rare breed of a “zombedy” film that actually works! Check out the new official one-sheet created by Tom Hodge, aka The Dude Designs, and look for more soon!
A Little Bit Zombie, directed by Casey Walker and starring Kristen Hager (“Being Human”), Stephen McHattie (Pontypool), Neil Whitely, Crystal Lowe, Kristopher Turner, and Shawn Roberts (Resident Evil: Afterlife), comes to us from the writers of Evil Dead: The Musical, Christopher Bond and Trevor Martin. Production design was handled by genre fave and all around badass Peter Mihaichuk.
Walker tells us, “Tom and I collaborated over three months to put this together. He’s an insanely talented artist, and I feel very fortunate to have the chance to work with him.”
The Dude himself says, “This was the first time I got to really swing my design bat at comedy. After discussing some ideas with Casey, we both seemed to be coming from the same direction – we really wanted the poster to be every bit as visually entertaining as the film is funny by creating something that was epic, totally OTT for the subject matter. So this poster design really came to be a love letter to the whole fantasy art school of the 70’s and such great artists who inspired me growing up like Frank Frazetta, Boris Vallejo, and John Bolton… What could be more entertaining to depict on a movie poster than a ripped zombie groom with his ample-busted perma-tanned bride on one arm and holding sacrificial brains aloft to the gods with the other!?!”
Infected by a virus during his bachelor party, a mild mannered HR manager attempts to fulfill his overwhelming desire for brains and avoid Max, the obsessed Zombie Hunter hot on his trail. All while keeping it together so as not to incur the wrath of his Bridezilla-to-be.
