We’ve been talking about Shawn Levy’s telling of the tale of Frankenstein for quite a bit now here on Dread Central, and finally an update has come. It’s just not a good one.
According to New York Magazine’s Vulture, Fox recently balked at making Levy’s planned remake of Frankenstein at an $80 million budget, and honestly? Who could blame them? That’s quite a price tag for a period piece that’s been told hundreds of times.
Still, we hope that a budget will soon be agreed upon because you just cannot have too much of the big green guy lurking around. More soon!
