Hello, horror fans north of the Border. To all our Canadian gorehounds, genre fave Michael Biehn is headed your way to share two of his newest works of horror with you…in the flesh!

Featured in classic films we all know and love like The Terminator, Aliens and The Abyss, Biehn has long been beloved in horror/sci-fi’s inner circle. So when he releases a new project, we all sit up and take notice. The Divide and The Victim both have a great buzz around them, and now you can check them out in Alberta with the man himself in attendance. Read on for the details.

He’s saved the universe from Aliens. He’s saved Sarah Conner from terminators. He’s fought terrorists with Sean Connery. And now he’s coming to Alberta!

The Calgary Underground Film Festival, Burning Moon, and DEDfest are proud to present TWO evenings with Michael Biehn (February 10 in Edmonton, February 11 in Calgary), as he brings two of his latest, highly acclaimed films to Canada.

First is The Divide, a bleak, terrifying apocalyptic thriller from the director of Hitman and Frontiers, Xavier Gens. Biehn stars as the superintendent of an apartment complex who reluctantly takes a group of strangers into his makeshift basement bomb shelter after a nuclear attack.

Then comes Biehn’s directorial debut, the grindhouse-inspired The Victim, starring Biehn, Jennifer Blanc, and Danielle Harris. After witnessing the murder of her friend (Harris) at the hands of a couple of backwoods villains, a young woman (Blanc) takes refuge at the cabin of angry loner Kyle (Biehn) who reluctantly becomes her protector.

Also in attendance will be The Divide director Xavier Gens, The Victim producer Lorna Paul, and The Victim co-stars Jennifer Blanc-Biehn and Denny Kirkwood.
