More casting news coming in really quick for the latest film from the makers of The Host, Snow Piercer. Read on for all the details you need!
According to the Telegraph, as well as starring in a new Henry V, John Hurt will from March to June in 2012 be working on Snow Piercer by the Korean director Bong joon-Ho, who made Mother and Memories of Murder. Hurt said: “All the film crew refer to him, with great reverence, as ‘Director Bong’. I love the fact that I am working for Director Bong.”
Hurt joins the previously announced Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, and Jamie Bell.
Bong Joon-ho is helming from a script he penned with Park Chan-wook producing. Park is producing through Moho Films. Production is expected to start in March, though no distributor is yet in place.
The French graphic novel follows a group of people on a train without a final destination, struggling to survive after the end of the world brings on a cataclysmic ice age.
