The San Diego Reader’s Jay Allen Sanford is back with even more unseen goodies ready and waiting for you to take a glance at. The funny thing is that this rejected vintage artwork is cooler than most of the overly photoshopped blunders we get every day. Next on tap … Ghost Story, Halloween III, and Wolfen.

When you’ve got your fill of the horror themed awesomeness below, head on ever to Jay’s blog to indulge in some non spooky wonders that ended up getting shelved.

There’s stuff from The Never Ending Story, Dial M for Murder, Windy City and even Short Circuit! Nifty!

You're such an inspiration for the ways that I will never, ever choose to be.

  • James Coker

    Love the Halloween 3 poster

I’ve always been a big fan of Ghost Story since I saw it as a kid on HBO…it’s classic slow burn creepy ghost storytelling. I even own the original poster framed in my computer room.

That alternate version sucks balls. I’m glad they didn’t go with that shit.

  • Masked Slasher

Ghost Story was actually 30 years ahead of it’s time.

That’s the kind of boring shit that studios slap together in Photoshop today.

Hmm, I’ll have to try to check out out again. It’s been a while since I last saw it.

I dig that Ghost Story poster. It makes the film look better than it really is (not a bad film per se, just somewhat underwhelming for me).
