New Regency Hellbent on Delivering Horror

Another supernatural themed chiller is on its way from New Regency, and though details are on the extremely scant side of the fence, we do have some initial rumblings for you right here. Dig it!

According to Deadline, New Regency closed a mid-six-figure deal for Hellbent (not to be confused with the gay slasher film of the same name), a thriller pitch that will be written by Aron Eli Coleite, whose previous work includes a stint on ABC’s upcoming series “The River”.

Erwin Stoff and Michael Green will produce, and New Regency CEO Brad Weston took it off the table as two other bids mobilized. It’s described as a prison escape movie with supernatural elements.

Yeah, I know. That’s not very much to go on, but we’re suckers for spooky prison flicks. More as it comes.
