Good news came in today from Axelle Carolyn regarding her short film The Halloween Kid. Filming wrapped up this past Sunday, and in honor of the occasion (and of course today being Halloween), she sent over two stills for us to share with our readers.

You may recall that there was a crowd-funding effort going on for The Halloween Kid, and Axelle not only reached her target, but because of the generosity of donors, she was able to add a third day to her shooting schedule. Thanks to everyone who contributed; we love seeing a plan come together!

The Halloween Kid stars Julian Glover, Anna Walton (Hellboy 2), Dave Legeno (Harry Potter) and Leo Donnelly. “We’re really looking to capture the spirit of Halloween in this short film,” says Axelle on her website for the flick. “Sweetness and spookiness, golden colors and dark shadows…”
