As if the record-breaking ratings weren’t a big enough sign, some pretty cool news is coming out of the Undead Festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey, where quite a few zombies from AMC’s “The Walking Dead” have gathered to take a bite out of the fanbase.
According to our man on the scene, Nomad, sources at the show are saying that AMC has already greenlit the series for a third season. File this one under “no-brainer” until the official confirmation comes.
In this latest season of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” TV series, the survivors arrive at Hershel’s Farm, where we meet Hershel Greene (Scott Wilson); his daughter, Maggie (Lauren Cohan); and middle-aged ranch foreman Otis (Pruitt Taylor Vince).
The new cast members join series regulars Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes, Sarah Wayne Callies as Lori Grimes, Jon Bernthal as Shane Walsh, Laurie Holden as Andrea, Jeffrey DeMunn as Dale, Steven Yeun as Glenn, and Chandler Riggs as Carl Grimes.
