Darren Lynn Bousman’s 11-11-11 isn’t the only film cashing in on a numerically gimmicky date next month. The Asylum has its own 11/11/11 movie hitting DVD shelves on November 1st, and the trailer has just premiered in all its devil child glory.
Jack and Melissa are frightened by their son’s bizarre and violent behavior; they soon learn that he is the gateway to the Apocalypse, and it will happen on his birthday, 11-11-11.
Jon Briddell (Midnight Movie) stars alongside Erin Coker and Hayden Byerly. Keith Allan directs from a script he co-wrote with Kiff Scholl.
Here’s the trailer for 11/11/11. Doesn’t look too shabby. Needs more mega shark, but then what couldn’t be improved with more mega shark? Maybe next they can combine genres and give us a hell shark.
