Fred Dekker Lets Us Know Shane Black’s The Predator Reboot Has Begun Reshoots

This September we will finally see the release of Shane Black’s reboot of The Predator starring Tom Jane, Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, and Olivia Munn. And as we all anxiously await the film’s utter badassness, today we have an update on filming via co-writer and Night of the Creeps/Monster Squad director Fred Dekker.
Dekker took to Facebook the other day to let us all know that not only have reshoots begun in Vancouver but the new sequence’s “body count is alarming.”
F*ck yeah. I was sold on this reboot/sequel right out of the gate but now knowing that even Fred Dekker considers the movie’s body count to be alarming I am all but shaking over here with excitement. How about you? You can check out his post below and then let us know what you think!
The Predator stars Thomas Jane, Edward James Olmos, Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, Olivia Munn, Alfie Allen, Yvonne Strahovski, Augusto Aguilera, and Keegan-Michael Key.
Black is directing from a script by Fred Dekker. John Davis, Joel Silver, and Lawrence Gordon — who produced the original — are producing. The Predator comes out September 14, 2018.
