A curious item came across the desk of Doctor Gash earlier today with a subject line that simply read: Spooky Castle. Well, being the curious soul I am, there is no way I’m letting a message with a subject line like that go by without at least taking a look at it. And as it turned out, it was quite an interesting project.

As it turns out, Spooky Castle is a new film project being shot in the New Forest in England revolving around the adventures of a pair of supernatural investigators. The filmmakers hope to make Spooky Castle, which is based on the video game of the same name, by Hamumu.com., into a film series.

Thus far a trailer and an initial short film entitled Spooky Castle: The Black Crow of Narth have been completed. The writers are Giles Milner and Rob King. David Broomfield filmed the short, and the cast is made up of Miner, King, Leo Rand, Tina Archer, Graham Moughton and Mat Walker.

The team is currently looking for funding to produce a full-length pilot episode. To take a look at the full grassroots effort going on, check out the Spooky Castle website.
