I’m still pissed that we haven’t see Jennifer Lynch’s Hisss. And while I’ve given up hope on seeing that film, the promise of another horrific venture from the director goes a long way toward lessening the initial blow. The only caveat? It’s looking like our EU friends may be seeing it before anyone in the states.
Deadline is reporting that Myriad Pictures have secured international sales rights for Chained – a psychological horror film in which an abducted boy begins to follow in the path of his serial killer captor. Now, I didn’t steal the plot crunch from Bereavement.
Myriad plans to drum up interest in the film by showing footage at the Toronto International Film Festival next week. No word on whether or not they’re showing the entire film, or selected pieces. We’ll bring you more as we have it. Chained stars Vincent D’Onofrio and Julia Ormond.
