Will Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory) Return for Resident Evil: Retribution?

For weeks now the Internet has been swirling with unofficial details about whether or not Sienna Guillory’s character, Jill Valentine, would be returning for Resident Evil: Retribution. Some sites were reporting that Valentine was out and the character Ada Wong was in her place. Finally we’re happy to clarify.
Guillory took to her Twitter page this morning and set the record straight. “Big day tomorrow! Meeting Paul Anderson and Jeremy Bolt and Robert Kultzer to see what my future looks like…” She then followed that up several hours later with “THANK YOU SO MUCH! RETRIBUTION HERE I COME!”
In short no one’s been replaced by anyone yet, and there are still deals being negotiated. When the concrete stuff comes, you’ll get it right here. Just sit tight and let the magic happen.
Paul W.S. Anderson is directing Resident Evil: Retribution in Russia, Canada and Japan, with Milla Jovovich reprising her role as Alice. Screen Gems will release the flick on September 14th, 2012.
