Behind-the-Scenes Video for Dexter Season 6

“Dexter” returns to the airwaves on October 2nd, 2011, and for those of us who can’t wait to see what our favorite serial killer is up to, Showtime has released an almost four-minute long behind-the-scenes sneak peek at Season 6. They promise that Dexter is back, and this season his dark passenger returns – renewed, recharged, and ready to take on some fateful adversaries.
Edward James Olmos, Colin Hanks, Molly Parker, Brea Grant, Aimee Garcia, Mos Def, Josh Cooke, and Billy Brown have all landed guest starring or recurring arcs in the upcoming episodes, joining regulars Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, Desmond Harrington, James Remar, David Zayas, C.S. Lee, and Lauren Velez. As reported previously, Season 6 jumps ahead a year, and we find that Dexter has gotten his groove back. He’s over Rita and Lumen and for a while at least is in a very positive place in his life.
Dexter Morgan (Emmy nominee Michael C. Hall) spent Season Five atoning for the death of his wife, Rita. He committed to being a part of her children’s lives and entered into a deep, passionate relationship with Lumen, unlike anything he’d ever had before. But Dexter’s need to kill overpowers his desire for human connection. And now that one person knows the truth about him, and a few others are close, how much longer will America’s favorite serial killer be able to keep his dark side a secret?
