San Diego Comic-Con 2011: Guillermo del Toro Promises Surprise for his Frankenstein

Guillermo del ToroRemember when Guillermo del Toro announced he was doing his own version of Frankenstein. We do. Very well. As huge fans of anything Frankenstein related that announcement has been burned into our brains. It’s been quiet on that front for a while. Until now.

During his panel at the San Diego Comic-Con Guillermo gave updates on several upcoming projects. In terms of Franksenstein del Toro promised that there’s one big thing different in his version of Frankenstein than all the others, but he wouldn’t elaborate further.

He also stated that he’s not giving up on his At Mountains of Madness project. Del Toro is still committed to the project even if the studio isn’t. As for Hellboy 3 budget and the epic nature of the story is what’s holding it up.
