Relativity Media is breaking out one hell of a cool photo op for fans in attendance at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con in promotion of its upcoming film Shark Night 3D, and we’ve got a sneak preview for you! Dig it!

From the Press Release: The star of the Shark Night 3D Experience at Petco Park is a hungry, man-eating, interactive mechanical shark available for photo ops with brave fans – with photo print-outs and uploads to Facebook and Twitter.

SHARK NIGHT 3D EXPERIENCE
DATES: Thursday, July 21st – Sunday July 24th
TIMES: Thursday – Saturday 9am- 7pm, Sunday 9am-5pm
LOCATION: Petco Park D1/D2 Parking Lot, 100 Park Blvd. @Imperial Ave.

The forthcoming Shark Night 3D featuring Sara Paxton (Sleepover, Superhero Movie), Katharine McPhee (The House Bunny), Dustin Milligan (Final Destination 3), Chris Carmack (The Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations), Sinqua Walls (From the Head), Alyssa Diaz (Red Dawn), Chris Zylka (The Amazing Spider-Man) comes from the mind of director David Ellis (Snakes on a Plane). The story revolves around seven male and female college friends who spend a weekend at a lake house in Louisiana’s Gulf area. When their vacation quickly becomes a nightmare of shark attacks, unheard of in freshwater lakes, they soon discover that the sharks are part of a sick, greedy plan on the part of several locals.

Synopsis
Arriving by boat at her family’s Louisiana lake island cabin, Sara (Sara Paxton) and her friends quickly strip down to their swimsuits for a weekend of fun in the sun. But when star football player Malik (Sinqua Walls) stumbles from the salt-water lake with his arm torn off, the party mood quickly evaporates. Assuming the injury was caused by a freak wake-boarding accident, the group realizes they have to get Malik to a hospital on the other side of the lake, and fast.

But as they set out in a tiny speedboat, the college friends discover the lake has been stocked with hundreds of massive, flesh-eating sharks! As they face one grisly death after another, Sara and the others struggle desperately to fend off the sharks, get help and stay alive long enough to reach the safety of dry land.

There’s New Information About Universal’s DOOM Reboot

Published

on

Some fresh news about Universal’s Doom reboot has come across our paths that we’re excited to share with you. An anonymous source has told us that Tony Giglio (Timber Falls, Extraction, S.W.A.T. Under Siege) will be directing the film based on a script he wrote. Additionally, we’re being told that Amy Manson (Once Upon A Time, Being Human, The White Princess) has been cast as the film’s lead.

We’ve also heard that Autonomous FX will be doing special effects, makeup, and demon design. The company has worked on such films as Sinister, I Spit On Your Grave, Stan Against Evil, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, and more. However, they will not be doing the actor’s makeup, which is being handled by a different department.

Elsewhere, Variety learned that the film is being handled by Universal’s non-theatrical division Universal 1440 Entertainment, which suggests the film is either going straight-to-video or it could go to a streaming platform, such as Netflix.

Doom will begin filming in the near future in Bulgaria.

ATTACK OF THE ADULT BABIES Comes Home on June 11

Published

on

I wasn’t too fond of Attack of the Adult Babies when I saw it at FrightFest last year, but as it’s being released on home video in the UK on June 11 courtesy of distributor Nucleus Films, I’m sure it will manage to find a dedicated fanbase. Especially among those partial to toilet humor.

Attack of the Adult Babies was directed by Dominic Brunt and stars Kurtis Lowe, Andrew Dunn, Charlie Chuck, Kate Coogan, Samantha Daniels, and The Human Centipede 2‘s Laurence R. Harvey. As its name suggests, the film focuses on a murderous group of elderly men in diapers, and yes, it really is as crass as it sounds.

Special features will include a making of featurette and a selection of Brunt’s previous short films, and the first 1000 copies of the Blu-ray will feature a slip case designed by artist Graham Humphreys. So if you happen to be in the mood for a film where a person literally drowns in shit, you can pre-order Attack of the Adult Babies on Amazon.
