Shock Till You Drop has gotten word that producer Denise Di Novi (Crazy Stupid Love) is developing a new take on the timeless tale Beauty and the Beast along with Guillermo del Toro. The producer added that the project will be a vehicle for Harry Potter‘s Emma Watson.

Given the amount of stuff on del Toro’s plate already, we’d expect him to act as a producer on this as well instead of directing, but hey, stranger things have happened.
