In the Carpathian mountains…cool wind in my hair. Cold smell of the corpses…rising up through the air. There’s a head in the distance…face frozen with fright. Sorry…couldn’t resist, but either way there’s plenty of room at the Hotel Transylvania, that is unless you plan to lend your voice to the OG Fangface himself.

hotel transylvaniaAccording to Variety Adam Sandler is checking in to Hotel Transylvania as Sony’s go-to funnyman has signed on to voice the lead role of Count Dracula in Sony Pictures Animation’s 3D family comedy.

Veteran animator Genndy Tartakovsky will direct the pic, which is being produced by Michelle Murdocca (Open Season). Tartakovsky is best known for his work on Samurai Jack, Star Wars: Clone Wars and Dexter’s Laboratory. Sony Pictures Imageworks (The Smurfs) will handle animation.

More on this one soon, but in the interim does anyone have any clue what the hell a “colitas” is and why its odor is warm? *shudder*
