From the Press Release
On June 25, 2011, Cinema Slaughter presents Dead Flesh Feast Horror Film Festival, a day for independent filmmakers and horror genre enthusiasts to watch raw, hardcore horror films and meet with some of the most influential names in horror.

The Feast begins at noon at the Vine Theatre, 6321 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90028, starting with the following horror shorts:

Inside the House, Directed by Eric W. Van Der Wolf and starring Cait Powers. A mother dials 9-1-1 claiming an intruder is trying to invade her home. The Operator dispatches units, but will they arrive before the terror is unleashed? Inside the House tells an all too familiar story that often leaves us shaking our heads helplessly asking ‘Why?’ And before we’ve even wrapped our heads around it, it happens again, and again…”

Panic Fear, Written and Directed by John Francis Conway III. When a woman gets up to get a midnight snack, her most feared nightmare comes true.

The Sweet Smell of Honey Rotting, Directed by Hell Colby. Honey is walking home one night when a couple of men stop her from getting to her lover. Raped and left for dead, Honey will return to see her love one way or another. Director Hell Colby (of Blood Shed magazine) takes a grindhouse setting and twists it into a surreal dystopic nightmare. Rated NC-17.

CathARTic, Written and Directed by Devanny Pinn. A group of controversial artists are faced with a project that uses their mediums in an attempt to blur the line that defines self expression and murder.

Tickets are $10 general admission, $5 for students with proof of school ID. Dai Green will emcee the event and introduce the film lineup, which includes:

The Los Angeles Premiere of Song of the Shattered,” Directed by Wolfgang Meyer and starring Devanny Pinn, Brandon Slagle, and Tara Cardinal. This film will be shown followed by a Q&A with the cast and crew. A young woman kills her abusive husband after he viciously rapes her as she tries to leave him. Over time she finds it harder to move on with her life than she originally thought, and the ensuing struggle yields horrific results for those closest to her…”

After the screening, Mark White, The Goth Comedian, will entertain the masses with his funny and original stand-up routine. The horror continues with our next film, Sella Turcica.

Controversial Director Fred Vogel’s film, Sella Turcica, Starring Damien A. Maruscak and horror/exploitation legend Camille Keaton, will set off the night. Sgt. Bradley Roback returns home after a mysterious accident that leaves him paralyzed. Upon Brad’s return, his family is unaware of the details of the accident and severity of his condition.
