And another new multi-player trailer has come our way for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s highly anticipated F.E.A.R. 3, this one entitled “Contractions”, which provides a detailed look at the game’s cooperative survivor multi-player mode.

In this mode players must band together to forage supplies and fend off the waves of enemies who are unleashed and eager to take down the squad. Once all squad members are incapacitated, the game is over so players must work as a team.

Synopsis:
Set to release on the Xbox 360, PS3, and Windows PC in June, F.E.A.R. 3 is a heart-pounding paranormal first-person shooter unleashing intense combat, compelling narrative, and co-op play that evolves the franchise. Alma returns in F.E.A.R. 3, but this time her sons, Point Man and Paxton Fettel, are characters available to play in divergent co-op, giving players distinctly different abilities affecting their own play as well as the experience of their co-op partner. Gamers participate in single player or co-op modes as Point Man or as Paxton Fettel, his conniving brother whose incredible telekinetic power has given him life beyond the grave.

To further ensure extreme terror in F.E.A.R. 3, legendary horror mastermind John Carpenter (Halloween) and critically acclaimed horror comic and script writer Steve Niles (30 Days of Night) provided consultation.
