So yeah, it has kind of an odd name that could be turning some horror fans off. Then again, the moniker is so odd, we’re not sure anyone would know what to make of it. Still, all you need to know is this … Francis Ford Coppola is directing, and according to one of the film’s stars it’s very much a horror movie.
During an interview with Interview Magazine Val Kilmer dropped the following bit of information on Twixt Now and Sunrise that we’re pretty positive will pique your interest.
“It’s a Halloween extravaganza,” says Kilmer. “There’re dogs and vampires. I play a writer who’s something like [author] Mario Puzo, or at least how Francis describes Puzo’s experience where he wrote THE GODFATHER while he was waiting for inspiration for his masterpiece. My character is a guy who tossed off this book about witches, and it became a big deal, and now he’s known as doing these silly witch books and he’s on hard times now looking for inspiration.”
In the film Kilmer stars opposite Bruce Dern, Elle Fanning, David Paymer, and Ben Chaplin. Look for more on this one as soon as it breaks. Lord knows we’ll be watching!
