Oldboy Director to Send Alice to Stoker Land

It’s been a few months since last we heard of anything happening with Wentworth Miller’s horror thriller Stoker, but lo and behold some possible casting news has hit the net.
According to Deadline Alice in Wonderland‘s Mia Wasikowska (pictured right) is negotiating to star in Stoker, the Fox Searchlight thriller that will be directed by Oldboy and Thirst director Chan-wook Park. Miller, the “Prison Break” star, wrote the screenplay under the pseudonym Ted Foulke.
In the movie Mia will be playing an eccentric teen whose enigmatic and estranged uncle returns to the family after the death of the girl’s father. Strange and horrid things ensue.
Shooting is slated to begin next spring. Look for more soon.
