Horror Waits Down the Road

Just yesterday I was talking about why it’s wise to stay out of the fucking woods if you don’t belong there, but I guess we should be thankful for those unfortunate dolts who think they’re heading there for a good time only to become meat for the beast. Hey, it makes for good movie watching!

The latest film to hit our radar is Jason Christopher’s terror tale Down the Road starring Shaun Paul Costello, Chris Ready, Chelsey Garner, David J. Bonner, Nikki Bell, Jen Dance, Matthew Nadu, and the great Clint Howard.

“The film pays homage to films such as Friday the 13th and Halloween,” says producer Deven Lobascio. To further add to this new slasher’s pedigree, Lobascio goes on to tell us that the script for the film was revised and edited by writer Victor Brooke Miller, who penned the original Friday the 13th. Very nice!
