Dexter Gets a New Showrunner

Though I dug it myself, a lot of fans were upset about this season of the hit Showtime series “Dexter”. Maybe some new blood is in order to keep things interesting again? Apparently Showtime thinks so, too.
According to Deadline Hollywood executive producer Scott Buck has been named the new showrunner. He will succeed Chip Johannessen, who ran the show last season.
So will changing showrunners do the trick for fans who want their favorite dark passenger back in top form? Time will tell, but maybe Showtime should look into the possibility of bringing in a few new writers as well. We shall see.
