Walking Dead Producer to Show Off His New Powers

Here at Dread Central we love comic books. Especially those that deal with the darker side of the tracks. That’s right, kids, we like our heroes drenched in blood! A new comic adaptation is on the way from someone who knows all about violence in comics and isn’t afraid to embrace it.

According to Spinoff writer Brian Michael Bendis confirmed today that “The Walking Dead” executive producer Charles “Chic” Eglee (“Dexter”, “The Shield”) is in talks to head up the television adaptation of the long-running comic series Powers for FX.

Powers follows the lives of Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim, homicide detectives who investigate cases involving “powers” (people with superhuman abilities) in a world where superheroes and supervillains are common.
