We all love movies about zombies, but when Ken Foree is part of the team kicking undead ass, it’s just a million times sweeter. We’ve been talking about Milan Konjevic’s latest undead bash, Zone of the Dead, for a while now, and the time has come for you guys to see it for yourselves.
Zone of the Dead is launching on the cable systems and mobile platforms in North America, and you can dig it right now!
After more than 25 international festivals and releases in UK, France, Japan, Germany and Serbia, the title is finally available in the USA and Canada.
As of October 1st, 2010, Zone of the Dead is available on the following cable/satellite/IPTV companies in the US and Canada under the title 2012: Apocalypse of the Dead
2012: Apocalypse of the Dead (Zone of the Dead) features badass zombie killer Ken Foree kickin’ undead carcass for the first time since George A. Romero’s Dawn of the Dead (1978). The flick also stars as his partner in high volume violence Dread Central favorite Kristina Klebe from Rob Zombie’s Halloween.
In Louisiana and wanna see the movie on the big screen? 2012: Apocalypse of the Dead will be screened at the Acadiana Film Festival in Lafayette, LA, on Friday, November 12th.
Look for the flick to hit DVD on March 1st, 2011.
Synopsis
After the Night, after the Dawn, after the Day… comes an epic fight for survival in the realm of the undead.
Transporting a valuable human cargo of state prisoner across a hazardous war zone, a group Interpol agents headed by Agents Reyes and Milius are forced to make an unscheduled detour when they encounter the remnants of a catastrophic ecological disaster. They find themselves besieged by a vast army of rampaging, blood-thirsty zombies, ravenous creatures who will stop at nothing to devour every morsel of human flesh in sight. As Reyes and Milius fight for their lives, they realize their only chance for escape is in joining forces with the treacherous criminal in their care. But this man has a past as deadly and terrifying as the monsters out for their blood.
