Though we never seen a single episode and were thoroughly bewildered by their presence at Comic-Con, the TV show “Glee” has become a bit of a phenomenon garnering millions of fans. As a special Halloween treat, filming has wrapped on the show’s Rocky Horror themed episode and as a result it looks as if things are heading in an unexpected direction … down remake road!

According to Deadline New York Fox has offered “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy a deal to direct the feature film remake.

The 1975 musical has grossed more than $100 million dollars and is considered the longest running theatrical release in film history because it still packs the faithful into midnight shows. The project is taking shape at Fox 2000, with Peter Chernin producing along with Lou Adler. Look for more soon.
