Motion Picture Purgatory: Machete

You may have thought you’d heard the last from us about Robert Rodriguez’s Machete until its DVD release, but nope. Our resident crazy Canuck Trembles has just weighed in with his thoughts on the film.
Machete stars Jessica Alba (Sin City), Robert De Niro, Michelle Rodriguez (Fast & Furious), Lindsay Lohan (Mean Girls), Cheech Marin (Once Upon a Time in Mexico), Jeff Fahey (“Lost”), Don Johnson, Steven Seagal (Under Siege), and of course Danny Trejo as the lead character.
It first hit theatres on September 3rd, 2010, and while it certainly didn’t set the box office on fire, it is still out there in the multiplexes. Here in San Diego it’s showing in two locations. So if you’ve yet to see it but are contemplating doing so, check out what Rick has to say before trying to track it down in your home town.
