Last week Dread Central was on hand to cover the world premiere of writer/director Deon Taylor’s upcoming horror flick Chain Letter, and we’ve got lots of goods for you to check out.
Taylor showed up in style on the carpet with his brand new producing partner, Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx, to talk about how excited he was that Chain Letter (which was originally made a few years ago) will finally be getting released on 400 screens in the United States starting on October 1st.
Dread Central also had the opportunity to speak with some of the Chain Letter stars including Noah Segan, Matt Cohen (Dark House), Betsy Russell, Cherilyn Wilson, and Cody Kasch (“Desperate Housewives”).
After the Chain Letter premiere at the Arclight Hollywood, filmgoers headed over to the Geisha House for an after-party to end all after-parties that included a live performance from the band Eddie the Gun (who are now working with Taylor under his brand new music division of Deon Taylor Enterprises) and a special DJ set by Foxx and Taylor. The party was still going strong at around 1:30 AM when this writer finally had to hang up her party shoes and head for home.
Dread Central’s video coverage from the red carpet can be found below, and make sure to check out Chain Letter during its limited release on October 1st. For more information check out the official Chain Letter website or follow Chain Letter on Twitter!
