As Andrew mentioned in his Top 10 Most Kick-Ass “Supernatural” Moments article, writer Ben Edlund has long been the series’ secret weapon, cooking up some of the most bizarre content you’ll ever see on television. So we’re definitely looking forward to the upcoming Episode 3, “The Third Man”, which he wrote and airs Friday, October 8.
To make sure you’re anxiously anticipating it as well (after all, it marks the first Season Six appearance of Castiel), The CW has provided a few stills from the ep for us to share with our readers.
Synopsis:
Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) call Castiel (Misha Collins) for help when they investigate a case about several dead police officers who seem to have been killed by the plagues of Egypt. Castiel confirms the staff of Moses was used to kill the cops and tells Sam and Dean that Heaven is in a state of chaos and God’s weapons have been stolen. The three head off to find the thief and come face-to-face with an old enemy.
