Takashi Shimizu (The Grudge) has brought us a lot of horror over the years, but nothing more horrifying than … brace yourselves … Rabbit Horror 3D. Yep, Rabbit Horror 3D. This particular night of the lepus is about to get really hairy!
Tokyo Hive reports that Shimizu is already hard at work on his second 3D horror flick (the first being the yet to be released Stateside Shock Labyrinth), entitled Rabbit Horror 3D starring Mitsushima Hikari, Teruyuki, Omori Nao, and Ogawa Tamaki.
“Rabbit Horror 3D will be filmed using Panasonic’s dual-lens AG-3DA1 camera, and it will use Christian Doyle as the main cinematographer. The movie is inspired by Alice in Wonderland as the story mainly focuses on a stuffed rabbit from an alternate world. Just to give an outline of the movie, it tells the story of Mitsushima’s brother, who is sent to an alternate world after receiving the rabbit. To retrieve her brother, Mitsushima’s character will unravel the secret behind the animal.”
Rabbit Horror 3D will open in Japan sometime in 2011. Look for more soon!
