Twelve years ago we were exposed to the twisted mind of Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider when he unleashed Strangeland, the tale of a sadist named Captain Howdy who uses chat rooms to lure unsuspecting teens to his lair so that he can torture and murder them while employing his body modification rituals. Snider wrote and starred in the film. A sequel was greenlit back in 1998 but had not come to fruition, until now.
Back in February Dread Central reported that Snider had finally begun the process and now we bring you the news that the film is set to start shooting in Cleveland and casting has started for extras. They are looking for extras of all shapes and sizes, and you can visit ScreenTest.Biz for details on how you can be a part of it!
Snider and Robert Englund are set to reprise their roles from the original. It is unclear yet whether Strangeland II: Disciple will find theatrical release or go straight to DVD. Keep it here for more as it comes.
