Official Trailer and Synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch

One panel we sadly didn’t have time to check out during this year’s San Diego Comic-Con included a first look at the official trailer for Zack Snyder’s mind-bender Sucker Punch. Luckily it’s now hit the Internet, and we have it for you right here in all its epicness.
Synopsis:
Sucker Punch is an action fantasy that takes us into the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality. Unrestrained by the boundaries of time and place, she is free to go where her mind takes her, but her incredible adventures blur the lines between what’s real and what is imaginary…with potentially tragic consequences.
Emily Browning plays the girl; Carla Gugino, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone, Scott Glenn, Jon Hamm, Oscar Isaac, and Abbie Cornish are also on board. Zack and Deborah Snyder are producing Sucker Punch through their Cruel & Unusual banner. He’s directing from a script he co-wrote with Steven Shibuya.
Look for it in theatres on March 25th, 2011, in 2D only, not the previously announced 3D. As Snyder regretfully told MTV during the SDCC, “None of us want to get kicked in the knees because our 3D is crappy.”
