Though we miss him at Comic-Con, we’re thrilled that director Joe Lynch is busy getting his latest flick Knights of Badassdom into fighting shape. Ready for more imagery?
As always Lynch has been punching up his daily blog with new shots to get you in the mood for some demonic tail-kicking.
The Knights of Badassdom stars Summer Glau, Peter Dinklage, Ryan Kwanten, Steve Zahn, and Danny Pudi. The flick follows the exploits of a group of LARPers (Live Action Role Players) who accidentally release a big badass demon.
Spectral Motion, who created creatures and mutants for the Hellboy and X-Men franchises, will be handling the special effects duty so expect a lot from the plethora of demonic minions that are set to be unleashed.
Lynch is shooting from a script penned by Kevin Dreyfuss and Matt Wall in Spokane, Washington.

Synopsis
“After being dumped by his sexy girlfriend Beth, Joe (Kwanten) reluctantly decides to join Eric (Zahn) and his LARPing (Live Action Role Players) friends in the woods rather than stay behind and feel sorry for his newly single status. There he meets hot, ass-kicking, intimidating LARPer Gwen (Glau), and finds himself plunged into a surreal adventure wilder than he ever imagined when a make-believe wizard casts an all-too-real spell from an ancient book. That spell releases an actual demon with a taste for human blood — and souls — that starts systematically decimating the players in this suddenly deadly “game.” Will our guys become the heroes they have been pretending to be before time runs out?”
