A bit more concerning that latest adaptation of the brilliant work of Mr. Charles Addams. Looks like there’s truly something special brewing in grandmama’s cauldron!

In an interview with ComingSoon.net producer Christopher Meledandri spoke a bit about the upcoming 3D animated version of The Addams Family we told you about a few months ago.

The producer again confirmed that they’re looking to go old school by using stop motion and not computer animation — and even cooler — the project just may be released in glorious black and white! Meledandri also added that this retelling will be based on the original Charles Addams comics that ran in The New Yorker and not the subsequent television series or the film adaptations thereof.

Dig on an excerpt from the interview below and hit up the above linkage for more!
