Nothing like a little post-apocalyptic mayhem to pique our interest in a new comic. Especially when it comes from the likes of director Antoine Fuqua (Brooklyn’s Finest, Training Day), actor Wesley Snipes (Blade), and award-winning writer Peter Milligan (X-Statix, Skreemer). And that’s exactly what we have in Radical Publishing’s upcoming After Dark.
Created by Fuqua and Snipes, written by Milligan, and illustrated by Jeff Nentrup, After Dark tells the tale of an amoral drifter who guides a gang of damaged souls into the dark places of the ruined planet … and the even darker places of their own pasts. They journey in search of a woman who may be the key to saving the world, if the world is not already past saving. The question looms if the people who still inhabit this world are even worth saving. After Dark is a story of hidden demons and unleashed devils set in a future that could very well be ours.
