Everyone can breathe a sigh of relief. Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone, and Nikki Reed have all signed on the dotted line with Summit Entertainment to return for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. What we still don’t know, however, is whether the damned thing will be in one installment or two and if it’ll be in 3D as rumored.
In case you’re not sure of who’s who exactly, Greene plays Alice Cullen and Lutz is Emmett Cullen; Rathbone (pictured) portrays Jasper Hale while Reed plays his adopted sister Rosalie Hale, who’s married to Lutz’s character. All are, of course, vampires who are part of Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson)’s “family”.
Variety reports that this quartet of Twilight co-stars “are closing deals to come back.” Summit hasn’t commented, but it’s a safe bet that the studio doesn’t want to endure another battle with fans like when it replaced Rachelle Lefevre with Bryce Dallas Howard for Eclipse.
In previous reports it’s been stated that director Bill Condon is already signed to film two Breaking Dawn movies, which would be shot back-to-back starting in the fall and released in November 2011 and summer 2012, respectively. Keep it here for more as we see whether or not that is indeed the case.

Wonder how the hell they’ll handle that birthing scene in the Dread Central forums.
