According to The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision Blog Shiloh Fernandez has nabbed the male romantic lead in Warner Bros.’ Gothic horror re-imagining of the fairy tale.
The Girl With the Red Riding Hood, written by David Johnson (Orphan), is a retelling of the old Red Riding Hood bedtime story that we can only hope comes sans any sparkling entities and/or underwearwolves. Oh, who are we kidding? We know that they will be there. Either way, we’ll be watching and hoping for the best.
The original fairy tales by The Brothers Grimm were deliciously dark so keep your fingers crossed that at least some of that content makes it in.
