While a lot of fans were less than thrilled with the way that The Lost Boys: The Tribe turned out after so many years of talk, there was at one time a completely different script that handled the continuation of the much beloved story in a completely different fashion. Curious? Well, now you can read it!

At one time, so very long ago, Eighties horror writer Eric Red (The Hitcher, Near Dark) had penned a prequel to the first film that came from a story by both Red and Joel Shumacher (who directed the original).

The script was set in San Francisco at the turn of the century and followed a vampire that hooks up with the five kids who were to become THE LOST BOYS.” Talk about ahead of its time! With all the prequels being discussed and made nowadays, we have a feeling this would have been eaten up in a heartbeat had it been written today.

Decide for yourself! Head on over to Arrow in the Head to download it and give it a read!
