True Blood Cast Expands Again as Sam Hires a New Waitress

Lauren Bowles, who has been kept quite busy over the last several years with guest starring roles in numerous TV series, has joined the cast of “True Blood” as recurring character Holly, a new waitress at Merlotte’s.
Of course Holly’s skills extend far beyond simply serving up burgers and beer; according to EW’s Ausiello Files she’s a thirtysomething (presumably single) mother of two [who] creeps Arlene out with her oddly prescient observations. Very strong recurring in Season 3 with a possible series regular upgrade in Season 4. We can expect to first see Bowles (who’s the half-sister of Julia Louis-Dreyfus) as Holly approximately halfway through the upcoming season.
Look for the show to come back on Sunday, June 13th! New blood Bowles, Joe Manganiello, Brit Morgan, Denis O’Hare, Kevin Alejandro, Cooper Huckabee, Alfre Woodard, J. Smith-Cameron, Theo Alexander, Grant Bowler, and Lindsay Pulsipher join stars Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Sam Trammell, Ryan Kwanten, and Rutina Wesley.
