Prom Night Goes REALLY Wrong For Kids in Reach

For most of us, other than the spooky ghost who came out of the well in the American Ring films, the only other unnerving bit of the flick was Naomi Watts’ son’s constant freakiness. Well, the actor who played the little weird kid, David Dorfman, is all grown up now (wow, does time fly), and he’s already attending his prom. Of course murderous mayhem ensues.
The new indie horror flick Reach, directed by newcomer Russell Kostner and also starring Edward Furlong, is getting set to make its debut, as evidenced by the throng of production shots that have been added to the official Reach Facebook page. Synopsis:
Three high school misfits playfully kidnap their prom dates in hopes of giving them a romantic evening they won’t forget. But the kids soon stumble upon a terrifying secret deep in the back woods of Kansas – a secret that could ultimately cost them their lives. Now they must use the traits that have made them outcasts among their peers in a desperate struggle to survive the night.
