Season Finales Set for Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries They still haven’t returned from their winter hiatus yet — that’s happening next week on March 25th — but we’ve already gotten the word on when we’ll be seeing the season finales of The CW’s popular The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural as well as a few choice teasers about what to expect in Supernatural‘s 100th episode, which airs April 15th.

According to About.com TVD‘s and Supernatural‘s “thrilling and chilling” finales will air the same night on Thursday, May 13th.

As for that 100th installment in the life and times of the Winchesters, entitled “Point of No Return”, EW’s Ausiello Files has provided a couple of reassuring semi-spoilers over the past few days:

No, Ruby won’t be in the 100th episode, but Zachariah (Kurt Fuller) will be.

With regard to the crazy rumors flying around about a “major death” such as either Castiel or Bobby: There’s a death, but I wouldn’t exactly call it major.

And finally, prepare to see Castiel like you’ve never seen him before: royally pissed off.

No Ruby and a pissed off angel. That sounds like the perfect 100th episode to us!
