Evil Dead in 60 Seconds Via The Wonders of Claymation

default-featured-image

Never mind CGI, man! Old school claymation has always been cooler if only for the fact that there’s something physically there up on the screen. Sadly, claymation seems to be a quickly dying medium, but that hasn’t stopped artist Lee Hardcastle from crafting a version of the Sam Raimi classic The Evil Dead that you won’t soon forget.

The short film is part of a contest hosted by Jameson Empire Awards 2010. Other entries include unique sixty-second takes on Predator, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Inglourious Basterds, The Silence of the Lambs, Donnie Darko, and more. Follow the above link to vote for your favorite!
