Music to Slay to! John Debney to Score Predators

The score for the original Predator by Alan Silvestri was as memorable as anything else in the movie, and for a while there was hope that he’d be returning to score Predators, but alas, that was not to be.
According to Film Music Reporter John Debney (Iron Man 2, Sin City, The Relic, I Know What You Did Last Summer) has been chosen to score Nimrod Antal’s latest entry into the franchise for 20th Century Fox.
The film stars Topher Grace, Adrien Brody, and Laurence Fishburne as a group of humans who find themselves stranded on a planet home to Predators and must survive the horrors they encounter. Produced by Robert Rodriguez’s Troublemaker Studios, Predators go on the hunt July 9th, 2010.
