AFM Synopses: Hellraiser and Scream 4

AFM is yielding lots of genre fare this year, including posters and of course synopses that hold an early look at what we can expect from two pretty prominent genre films – the Hellraiser remake and Scream 4.
While Scream 4‘s synopsis is pretty thin, Hellraiser‘s is nice and meaty. Dig ’em both below.
Scream 4 Synopsis
The horror series that reignited the genre and grossed more than $500 million worldwide is back! From Kevin Williamson, creator of the original Scream trilogy, the new film sees the return of cast members Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette along with a group of new stars, who can all hopefully stay alive long enough to figure out the new rules to this one-of-a-kind horror franchise!
Hellraiser Synopsis
The re-telling of Clive Barker’s classic horror masterpiece. Based on Barker’s critically acclaimed novella “The Hellbound Heart,” Hellraiser tells the story of an unfaithful wife who attempts to assist her dead lover in his escape from hell. Having lost his earthly body to a trio of forsaken demons – lead by one of the most enduring horror characters of all time, Pinhead – he must force his former mistress to bring him the necessary human sacrifices to complete his body. Clive Barker’s Hellraiser promises to be a terrifying journey into the darkest corners of the soul.
