While we all are eagerly anticipating the end of the world in 2012, we can start dying vicariously through this new Japanese trailer for disaster-king (this looks good, but we’re not ready yet to forgive you for what you did to Godzilla) Roland Emmerich.
The film, which opens in theaters on November 13th, follows the exploits of an academic researcher who leads a group of people in a fight to counteract the apocalyptic events that were predicted by the ancient Mayan calendar and other historical documents, astronomy, and Biblical and scientific data.
This is just the kind of entertainment we need to digest before we massacre another round of turkeys about a week later!
